It turned out to be a wonderful experience for my palate! The food was delicious, flavorful, and well-balanced—not greasy, not overly salty, and with just the right amount of seasoning. Big serving, Kunafa with turkish coffee matched very well:×, Every dish we tried was enjoyable and gave me a great introduction to Turkish and Mediterranean flavors. If you’re looking for authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Layali Turkish Restaurant at Arab Street. Nagyon finom, próbáljátok ki. Imádom a baklavát, ahol tehetem megkostolom. Az első helyen eddig egy amszterdami külvárosi kis “bodega” sütiző volt, de ennek a szingapúri étteremnek a baklavája felkerült a dobogóra. A rizs fűszerezése is szenzációs. We’re from Canada, where donair and shawarma are serious business and this place honestly blew us away. Shawarma Kingdom served one of the best shawarma wraps we’ve ever had. Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and so tasty. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients. The wrap was filling without feeling heavy, and absolutely a must-order. The owner was incredibly hospitable and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The space was clean, comfortable, and felt well cared for. With their menu choices, this restaurant is a great place to start for those unfamiliar with Turkish cuisine. There’s a variety of different options for everyone, and this time I went for the lamb mandi. It was seasoned and made so well — the meat was so flavourful and so tender that it literally slipped off the bone. It’s my first time trying this kind of dish and they honestly raised the bar for me here in Singapore. It is definitely on the pricier side but for the quality and (super) generous portions you get, it’s definitely value for money for a lovely evening out 😊 Will come back to try more for sure! ~ Patricia T

First time trying this place and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Food was really shiok and tasted authentic. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, the bread was fresh, and the portions were quite generous for the price. Service was friendly and efficient even though the restaurant was quite busy. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and the overall dining experience was very pleasant. If you’re craving good Turkish food in Singapore, this place is worth checking out. Went to Arab Street and was browsing around with my big sister Judy for dinner, we stumble at Shawarma Kingdom at the corner of the street. Love the food here specially the Mezza Platter & Mussaka Chicken. Freshly made. Mmmmm… yummyyyy…& affordable too. From the boss to the staffs, they’re very friendly. Tip top service. Arranged for my dad’s 75th birthday celebration last nite and to our surprise they sang for him an Arabic birthday song equipped with the manager himself playing the tabla to the beat of the music and they put on a Turkish hat on my dad! Came out with a candle on Kunafa on the house 🥰 It was an amazing experience and really made my dad super happy 🫶 Thank you. Compliments to the chef too for a scrumptious spread!!! We came here for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the mix shawarma wrap (chicken and lamb). The portion was big and each shawarma slice was packed with lots of meat and even has extra meat slices placed on top. The flavour was so delicious and the meat was not dry. They provided 2 sauces, both go really well with the wrap. We ordered Turkish coffee, lemonade mint and ice lemonade tea and they were all so refreshing and freshly made. The staff were friendly and served us with a smile. Would recommend coming here to grab a bite! ~ Jedi A

A fantastic Lebanese food place. We ordered the platter, which was a delightful array of flavors, the hummus, meatssss, and sides were particularly outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even arranging for our large group to sit upstairs for more privacy. An unforgettable dining experience! We visited Shawarma Kingdom to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and everything—from the food to the hospitality—was absolutely exceptional. We enjoyed a mouthwatering spread: tender, fall-apart Lamb Mandi over fragrant saffron rice; a flavorful shawarma rice platter with perfectly seasoned chicken and beef; a zesty, refreshing fattoush salad; and a rich, creamy mezze platter with hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. Not pictured but equally delicious were the shawarma kebabs — grilled to perfection with juicy, smoky meat that was bursting with flavour; the falafels, which were perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and savory inside. The kunafa was golden and gooey with just the right sweetness, and the baklava was crisp, flaky, and indulgent. The best part? The staff celebrated with us by singing, playing music, and even bringing out a tambourine to honor my dad’s birthday. It was warm, festive, and unforgettable. I had a great experience at Shawarma Kingdom. I was warmly greeted by one of the staff members—possibly the owner—which already gave a great first impression. I ordered the regular-sized lamb and chicken shawarma, but to my surprise, they generously upgraded both to larger sizes. We were really happy with the gesture, and even more impressed when we tasted them. The shawarmas were incredibly flavorful—honestly the best I’ve ever had. Had a really satisfying meal at Shawarma Kingdom! Tried both the chicken and lamb kebab rolls, and both were delicious. The meat was flavourful, juicy, and well-seasoned, with a nice balance of sauces and fresh vegetables. The lamb had a rich, smoky taste, while the chicken was tender and very easy to enjoy. Delicious Shawarma! Tried the shawarma here and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. I was in the mood for shawarma and got in when it was freshly cooked. It was so good we had to come again for lunch. The staff was very friendly we had to tell them how good their food was! On the first day of exploring Singapore i met Maxmud on the way i going to Barina by. His cafe food is so delicious, and Maxmud from Egyp is so friendly and helpful, i was passing by, and Mr Maxmud approached us friendly and offered us his cafe food, we tried it and we came back for dinner again, now again we are here, at the moment, 21:06. 5th July, i recommend to anyone to come and try food.
